Storks have a nearly cosmopolitan distribution, currently being absent from the poles, the vast majority of North America and huge parts of Australia. The centres of stork variety are in tropical Asia and sub-Saharan Africa, with 8 and six breeding species respectively. Just 3 species are existing in the New Earth: wood stork, maguari stork and jabiru, that's the tallest traveling chicken with the Americas.
